OMG I think I killed my cat

There was an article in a Dutch newspaper that mentioned the following. A cat was accidentally trapped underneath at bathtub when it was installed. It was trapped there for 7 weeks! And he survived.

Just be thankful she's alive and she's probably just dehydrated.You can't beat yourself up over it,you didn't know.Did your Aunt take her to the vet? She probably just needs fluids.Poor thing.......I'm hoping for you! Please let us know as soon as you hear something! Don't worry.....
	fuzzygalore: 08/30/2008 6:54 AM So far no updates. I don't know if they took her to the vet or if they simply put her in the car for the drive up here. If she's in the car I will drive her immediately to the emergency vet myself. It's the not knowing that is killing me. We were rough with that boxspring, so I don't know if she also got hurt while in it.

Between the Turnpike, the George Washington Bridge on a holiday weekend, and the CrossBronx expressway they have around 3 more hours to go. Princess is drinking alittle water on her own. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her. Already map quested the emergency vets office. Double checked with them that they take emergency walk-ins till 9 pm on Saturadays.

Oh that's good to hear!! 3 hrs will feel like an eternity! At least she's drinking by herself. I bet they will x-ray her and give her an IV for fluids.I'm sure she will be just fine,you'll see.God I feel bad for you it's gonna cost a fortune....my cat had to go to emer vet and it was so expensive! Thank God for credit cards! The things we do for our furry loved ones.....sigh
