December 27, 2008Xmas Boots & day after clearance shoes! These are the boots that were my Xmas gift this year.
Yesterday, I ventured out to see what sales were afoot. In DSW, I found this pair of red shoes at 40% off. Thought they were cute with there small kitten heels.
Since my mom had asked me to stop of at the Jewish deli for matzoh ball soup if I went to this shopping center....I had to walk by another shoe store. I figured why not, just go in for a look around. Well, on a super clearance wall I found this next pair marked down to $10. So of course I had to have them. LOL.

November 6, 2008What makes us human? Now that I'm back in NY, reconnecting with old friends. Or at least trying to. There are certain people I want absolutely nothing to do with. There was an incident many years ago. To make the story simple, I had already stopped hanging out with some girls I knew. They had started hanging out with another friends little sister. She really had no business hanging with them. They were older, and partying hardcore. One Christmas eve she had a bad accident. I don't blame them as she made the choice to drink and drive. She had skidded on snow and gone head-on into a tree. saddness as she to this day is living in a nursing home. What really pissed me off was that these people had been driving behind her, witnessed the accident. They grabbed her purse that had her just cashed paycheck in it and called 911 a few miles away. At no point did they think to check on her, maybe stay with her till help could get there. Just rob her and not look back. Even animals show compassion and give comfort to others......

New Political Correct Terms
Due to the climate of political correctness now pervading America , Kentuckians, Tennesseans and West Virginians will no longer be referred to as 'HILLBILLIES.' You must now refer to them as APPALACHIAN-AMERICANS. And furthermore HOW TO SPEAK ABOUT WOMEN AND BE POLITICALLY CORRECT: 1 She is not a 'BABE' or a 'CHICK' - She is a 'BREASTED AMERICAN.' 2. She is not 'EASY' - She is 'HORIZONTALLY ACCESSIBLE.' 3. She is not a 'DUMB BLONDE' - She is a 'LIGHT-HAIRED DETOUR OFF THE INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY.' 4. Kitty Saga continuesThe 2nd cat that was abandoned on my street let me touch her. HURRAH. If it keeps letting me near, soon I'll be able to get her into a carrier. Last night I was also able to get close enough to confirm that she is in fact a female. Can't tell if she is pregnant. It would be wishing for too much they someone would actually dump a fixed cat...isn't it? Here is a picture I was able to get of the male that already got a new home....

September 23, 2008New Kittys on the block saga.I am angry. pissed. around 1 1/2 ago someone decided to dump (abandon) 2 cats on my block. Beautiful cats. Malnourished. but beautiful. We already have a surplus of feral cats in the neighborhood as it is. I live close to boat marinas so there is no shortage of felines running around. So I am relieved to say that after feeding one of them and befriending them, one of them has a home today. He is the male, very vocal. Will be an indoor only cat! Now one of my neighbors and me are working on the other one. We believe it is a female. scared. she hides and runs away. from any of us trying to feed her, and other cats. It gets worse. We believe she may be pregnant and getting ready to nest underneath one of the house on the block. If we can't get to her before she has those kittens, we may not be able prevent them all from going feral. Right now she isn't mingling with any of the other cats out there. Well tomorrow is another day.

September 16, 2008Shame on me for leaving my camera home!!
I found myself at the perfect moment to take pictures while out. I went down to South Street Seaport in Lower Manhattan. Had lunch at the Waterfall Cafe, outside on the deck. Could see the water, bridges and the Waterfalls on display till October. Beautiful.

September 2, 2008Kitty UpdateShe is a miracle! One month spent inside a boxspring...Trapped. She's was dehydrated so the vet gave her a quick IV. Still waiting to hear if her blood work is good. Overall, she seems to be doing great. Since she is long haired she looks like a mess. Fur is all matted and she got infested with fleas. A bath and a shave will be done soon. OH! and at least one tooth got knocked loose so we have to schedule a dentist surgery for her before it breaks in half and causes a major infection.

August 29, 2008OMG! I think I killed my cat!!When we were moving our stuff into storage end of last month, we had the door open. I truthfully thought that one of the cats got outside during all the commotion. We couldn't find her. ANYWHERE. She is a beautiful white longhaired cat with a loud mouth. She has two different colored eyes. One yellow, one blue. When I couldn't find her in the apartment or neighborhood I figured someone saw a pretty cat and took her in. I even went so far as to go check the storage unit. Just to be safe. I just received a call from my Aunt who is emptying my storage unit. THE CAT WAS IN THE BOXSPRING HIDING!!!!! ALIVE!!! I want to cry so bad, but I'm in shock. She's in bad shape. I'm a ten hour drive away. I can't do anything to help her.

August 10, 2008LOL! Still trying to find old friends on MySpace. Kinda found someone.Well, call me persisent. Call me bored. I'm sitting in my place on City Island with nothing to do. my stuff is still in storage down in Virginia. I don't even have a pair of knitting needles! Nothing. So I've been searching and searching on MySpace for people I know. Yesterday I found one. It just sucked to find out that they had in fact passed away from cancer almost a year ago. I have found another guy. Actually an ex. But his MySpace page has been unused since 2004. Bummer. Anywhooo, I lifted a picture he had loaded on his page for all of you to see.
And my personal favorite!! LMAO!!

August 9, 2008Sometimes there are depressing moments on MySpace.....Today is one of them...Now that I am back in NY I am trying to reconnect with old friends. Well, I was searching on MySpace for people and was getting discouraged cause I wasn't finding anyone. Then I did a really broad of people in a certain age group within 20 miles of my current location. I actually found an old friend! Having found him, I thought for a moment on just why I had lost touch over the years. Did I really want to open my life up? So I read a little on his page. Now I'm sad. He passed away almost 1 year ago this week from cancer! Tommy Star RIP

August 7, 2008Relearning the lay of the land. Driving in NYCWell, because the former tenets left such a mess we are currently living in ONE room. They are busy painting the walls and hopefully tomorrow will start on the floors. It feels like the landlord will never finish and LEAVE. We have a mountain of CRAP in the middle of the livingroom floor to be thrown out. Too bad I can't think of anyone who knows about comic books, there is a stack of them all in plastic wrappers. They are going to simply be thrown away. No idea if they are worth anything. Sorry, I still can not find the cord for my camera. Will post pictures of the house and surrounding area soon. Hopefully I will be able to get my cat out of boarding on Saturday, I miss him dearly. It's loney sleeping without my Macho. Spent my day running around doing errands. Purchased a new 12 cup coffee pot. So have to sit down with the instructions to set it up. The box claims you can set it up at night to make your coffee or you in the morning. we'll see! Also had to pick up the dog food. The ever elusive Dr. Harvey's. It's hard to find and the only thing the dog can eat with no problems. When I went there, there was one bag in stock. There was no one to ring me up! They told me in broken english that it would be 10 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and left. Came back a few hours later and they had SOLD THE BAG! Luckily the owner felt bad for me and found some sample bags. They won't be restocked till next Thursday. **sigh**

August 2, 2008Update: In New Yorkwell, yesterday we signed the 2 year lease to the apartment in City Island. Because of the mess left by the previous tenents and the trouble they had getting them out, we will have access to one room on Sunday. The landlord will finish painting, etc the next week. Still no date for the boxes and furniture to arrive. It's all still in storage in Virginia. Currently staying at friends apartment in Yonkers, NY. Here is a website to City Island if you are interested. Enjoy. Will be back later!

July 30, 2008update, change of destination! Moving to City Island tomorrow!!
The landlord at the complex in Tuckahoe was playing games with us. He gave the apartment to someone else. Offered us a different on. Generally just making it all very complicated/hard. So today we decided to take a different apartment located on City Island in New York City. I believe it is a 2 bedroom bungalow. haven't seen it myself. I will leave to drive the 7 hours from Virginia Beach, Virginia to New york at 5:30 am tomorrow. Hopefully I will be back online tomorrow night. Till then take care.

July 22, 2008update on move, pictures of the apartment!Looks like the apartment in Tuckahoe, New York was the first one to empty and open up for me to move into. Here are some pictures that were emailed to me of the place. It's on the third floor of a walk up building. Tuckahoe is in Westchester county, New York. It's a short drive outside of NY City. I'm not too familiar with the exact area, I know it close to the highway. Not sure the distance yet to the Metro-North train station. It would be cool if it's not far cause then I would be able to go into the city without worrying about traffic, parking, or even drinking while out if I go see a show. NY is very strict on drunk driving. If they even suspect you've been drinking, they impound your car at your expense. (guilty till proved innocence) Bathroom
Kitchen Living room Bedroom showing area for Dining room table This is the outside of the building. I got a storage unit to put my stuff into till the big move day cause I currently have a small cramped apartment with no room to be able to pack and still walk around. My GOD!! I didn't realize just how out of shape I've allowed myself to get. getting boxes into my car had me completely out of breath! Getting everything into the third floor is going to be brutal.

July 21, 2008Moving! busy packing.I'm busy packing up, moving back up to New York. I've been in Virginia for 6 years. Only now have I realized just how depressed I've been. There is nothing outside of my family to connect to around here. No music scene. No real fashion scene. Some how no men. (it's a military base town, the men have been deployed forever in iraq.) nothing. Last time I went out on the town was over two years ago. It was to the one gay bar to see the drag queen show they had. waiting to hear about exactly which apartment I will live in. will hear in the next week or two. depending on which opens up, I will live in either Tuckahoe or City Island. So I will be 20-30 minute drive from lower Manhattan. If I indeed move back to City Island, you'll have to come visit and get some seafood. That is what it's known for! Lots of seafood resturants. When I get back up to NY I will have to report back on the exact price of the lobster specials. It used to be $9.99 for a 1lb lobster meal. and lots of garlic bread, salad.. (salivates)

March 10, 2008Peter Steele Playgirl InterviewPeter Steele Interview in PlayGirl"I'm melting in her silhouette by the flickering light of burning dreams. Our shadow, drowning in the flame, dance upon the walls. These texts and journals, cherished for so long are now a pyre of passion, fuel for our lust...I hold her from behind, her heat seeping through our clothes as she lit a cigarette with a burning page. My pulse quickened as she tossed another book onto the blaze and laughed. I knew this was wrong and I loved it. I loved the taste of smoke and wine when we kissed deeply. I dropped to my knees and lifted her short skirt. Her panties, like her bra, burned too quickly, so I tasted her heat. She moaned a beautiful song as she watched her clothing combust, and not once did she look away from the fire...." - From "On The Eve of All Saints," by Peter Steele We met with Peter Steele in the hectic days just prior to Type O Negative's 10-week stint on the road with Queensryche. When he walked through the door, we couldn't help but hold our breath. At 6'6" and 220 pounds, Steele commands a room like a comic book hero come to life. His long, jet black hair streams down his broad back as his eyes--the unreal green of a living forest-survey the studio where we are setting up the photo shoot for this months cover. In our first and subsequent conversations, the nature of his sexuality becomes defined by three recurring images--fire, wine and blood. Fire is the lust, wine the communion and blood the danger--and ultimately the fun--surrounded by a ring of flame--to a woman so hot her passion alone could set the bed on fire and consume them booth; and of course, the one about.... PLAYGIRL: If I were to write down your sexual fantasy, do you see a story? Does it have a plot--a beginning, a middle or an end? Peter Steele: I like the woods. I love autumn. I would imagine that this fantasy would take place in that environment, perhaps under the light of the full moon; a nice big fire....I imagine we're by a pond, surrounded by the elements. I suppose that she would be having her way with me, more than I would be having my way with her. PLAYGIRL: What does she look like? Peter Steele: Tall. I don't want to have to bend down to much. I've got back problems. PLAYGIRL: Is that from your days at the Parks Service? Peter Steele: (Laughs) No that's from incomplete evolution I would imagine. From what I understand, man is not quite ready to stand upright; which is why we have back problems. We're not really meant to walk on two legs. There are times we should be walking around on all fours....But maybe we should back to the bedroom scene. PG: Or the forest scene....OK, she's tall.... PS: Her hair color is inconsequential. I do prefer light eye's. PG: So You're in the forest minding your own business, when.... PS: Here she comes like Little Red Riding Hood down the path, and I guess I 'm the Big Bad Wolf....This is hard. PG: What's she wearing? PS: I love high heels. I don't really care for combat boots on women. PG: What else is she wearing? PS: I like latex. I wear leather. I like fur. I like sensuality...things that have a very nice feel to them. Regular clothing is fine too, of course. I wouldn't expect her to be wearing latex outfit in the woods. PG: This is your fantasy. PS: True, but I'm so rooted in reality that I have a difficult time fantasizing because I put so many mental limitations on things. It has to be within reason for me to get excited about it. PG: If it isn't realistic, do you start to laugh? PS: If it isn't within reason, the fantasy ceases at the moment. It has to attainable. PG: OK, you're in the woods, the woman is coming toward you. She's tall, and she's pale? PS: I would say pale. PG: She has light eyes, and for the sale of argument, we'll say she has black hair... PS: And very full lips. PG: What does she say to you? PS: "Get the hell out of my back yard?" I'm only kidding. Maybe she doesn't say anything. She just sits down right next to me. Maybe, by some chance, I have a bottle of wine with me, the fires already built, the flames are reflecting off the pond, and without saying a word, I give her some wine from my glass--or my mouth. PG: Then what happens? PS: Touching...Maybe, she puts her hand in mine. PG: What part of her do you want to touch most? PS: Her face, very gently. So I can fully absorb her contours. I want every sense to be excited. I want to smell her. I want to touch her. I want to see her. I want to hear her voice and I want to taste her. I want every sense to capacitated. PG: The fire is burning--you're sitting down...touching her face. PS: She's touching my face now. There would be a lot of touching. Like I said earlier, I would pass wine from mine to hers. PG: Does that have anything to do with all the blood in your lyrics? Blood is very sexual.... PS: Blood is sexual. Blood is violent. Blood means something extreme to everyone. PG: It's life, Is'nt it? PS: And it's death. It can mean pretty much whatever you want it to mean. It's the ultimate symbol....But as far as the wine goes, it's a very sensual drink. It's sensual to give somebody wine from my mouth....as long as I've brushed my teeth within the last couple of hours. (laughs) PG: What is feminine to you? PS: High heels, skirts, not a lot of makeup, but some. It doesn't really matter if she wears makeup or not. It doesn't change her psyche. It just appeals to me. I like long hair. It doesn't always have to be long, but that is what I prefer. There are some women who know ow to smoke and some women who don't know how to smoke.... PG: Do you smoke? PS: No. I think that smoking is an extremely feminine thing. When I see men smoke, it's very effeminate to me. It's like a man walking around with a dildo in his mouth. It's the same thing. PG: What about kissing women who smoke? PS: Sexually speaking, I like to watch women smoke. It's very sensual. If I'm going to kiss a woman who smokes, it's probably because I'm attracted to her, first off, and the act of smoking just augments that. So even though I don't like the taste. I can overcome it. PG: So, when I go back to my office to write your "as told to PLAYGIRL" fantasy, I'm going to have to have this high-heeled babe in latex in the middle of the forest smoking a cigarette. PS: That's pretty much it. PG: So one more time, tell our reader what your ultimate sexual fantasy would be. PS: An old mansion in the dead of winter, in front of a huge fireplace, on a bearskin rug, surrounded by a circle of black candles...just having foreplay for hours. I would be working my way along her body from top to bottom--extremely slowly--over the course of days maybe...until she passes out. PG: From pleasure or exhaustion? PS: Pleasure...or maybe lack of food. (laughs)

Any whooo for now I will post a picture of my feet.....I remember realizing it can be tricky trying to take a picture of your own feet.
